Sepi Aeen, MPT
 
Sepi is a graduate of California State University Northridge (CSUN). She holds two Bachelor degrees in Health Education and Physical Therapy and a Master's degree in Physical Therapy. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is licensed in the state of California.
 
Sepi has been in the field of Physical therapy since 1989. She has experience in several outpatient, orthopedic and hospital settings. She opened her own private outpatient practice in September 1999 in order to provide her patients with the high quality, individualized treatment that they deserve. It didn't take long for Sepi to realize there was limited improvement with her patients using conventional physical therapy. She attended many continuing education courses and seminars in order to improve her ability to help her patients. It wasn't until she discovered John Barnes' Myofascial Release (MFR) approach in 2001 that she found her passion and purpose in life. Since then she has completed over 500 hours of seminars in Sedona, Arizona, training with the founder of this approach, John F. Barnes. Sepi continues to attend MFR seminars as well as speak on the benefits of MFR.                                             
 
Sepi is now the founder and president of From the Heart Physical Therapy, Inc. which has  the only two Myofascial Release treatment centers in Los Angeles County. From The Heart Physical Therapy is an authentic and positively energized place of healing where everyone is treated with love and respect. Every patient is thoroughly evaluated and treated with an individualized program to meet their specific needs and increase their overall sense of well being in a soothing and caring manner by professional and experienced hands. Sepi and her staff are dedicated to helping each patient back to a balanced and healthy life they deserve.  Every therapist has been trained by John F. Barnes. 
 
Sepi has envisioned a beautiful, peaceful and healing place for her patients for the last 8 years.  After searching and looking for many years, she finally found a desired  location. This place is a shining gem in the midst of a stressful, high pace and busy city in Los Angeles.  Her patients are able to experience their treatments in a warm and cozy place where everything is done from the heart. In March 2011, after 12 years of having a private practice,  Sepi was finally able to realize her long time dream of opening a MFR healing center.  Please visit our Gallery page to view pictures of our beautiful grounds surrounded by lush gardens.

In July 2011, Sepi has been invited to speak at The USC Head And Neck Cancer Symposium to offer information on the benefits of Myofascial Release and the benefits of the treatment in reducing pain and restoring function and quality of life for many cancer survivors.
